After last year's successful launch, "Hamburg's Stars" by OPEN MOUTH returns with a new edition on September 7, 2025. The initiative by star chef Maurizio Oster will once again bring together 10 of the city's most renowned chefs and their 19 Michelin stars for an afternoon of fine dining and casual kitchen parties.

"My aim was to take Michelin-starred cuisine out of its formal corner and make it accessible in the way it is lived today: modern, creative, passionate," explains Oster, who was already part of OPEN MOUTH last year with his restaurant "Zeik". The idea of bringing together upscale gastronomy for a major event once again met with a great response from colleagues from Hamburg's top restaurants. Heinz O. Wehmann from "Landhaus Scherrer" is enthusiastic: "The audience, the colleagues, the exchange about the menu and the excellent ambience in HafenCity - for me, all of that together makes this event what it is. Matthias Gfrörer from the "Gutsküche" restaurant: "I think it's great that everyone who cooks their own soup during the year comes together at this event. For me, Hamburg is a model city where it simply works to work as a great team, no matter how many stars or which stars a restaurant has. We work together in a family atmosphere."

From 14:00 to 20:00, "Hamburg's Stars" by OPEN MOUTH will transform the foodlab in HafenCity into an open stage for culinary diversity at the highest level. Under the motto "Kitchenparty", guests will experience fine cuisine that is rarely served in this combination - in a relaxed atmosphere, in direct exchange with the chefs, with surprising dishes and inspiring interaction. Sophie Lehmann from the restaurants 100/200 and GLORIE on the event: "Guests have the opportunity to try the city's most diverse cuisines in one place and taste their way through the individual worlds. And they can get to know the faces behind them in a different setting. For me, this is one of the most exciting ways to experience Michelin-starred gastronomy."
The 11 participating restaurants with their 10 Michelin-awarded chefs combine a total of 12 classic Michelin stars and seven "Green Stars", creating a gastronomic event on this September afternoon that is unparalleled in Germany. Including:
